Elements of group interaction
All social interactions have three major components that must exist.These components are an action, a common goal, and a social context. The three components help the interacting group in the interpretation of the common meaning of that interface. Therefore, it is important to share assumptions in order to create cues for conduct since they enhance dictation of the appropriate subject. Elements of group interactions include verbal and non-verbal communication (Rouhi-Boroujen, 2015). In the former, words from the mouth are used while in the later, facial expressions, gestures, eye contacts, signs are symbols are used.

Some techniques to achieve this include the following: First, don’t react (Klinkhamer, 2015). This war involves two parties and withdrawal of one party means there is no war. This helps in anchoring the conflict before it accelerates and can be applied by pausing and breathing deeply. Responding through sadness instead of anger also helps in expediting the healing process since instead of biting back; it makes the opponent to be concerned of one's wounds. Avoiding triangulation is also important. Triangulation occurs when one does not speak directly to the person who they have a conflict with and in lieu speaks to somebody else. Triangulation should be avoided since it adds strain and mars focus on the main issue. Additionally, it is important to “reboot” which involves discarding all forms of mental energy that keep one fixated on the conflict (Klinkhamer, 2015). Group dynamics impact creativity, productivity, effectiveness and also enhance good decision making (Dyer & Dyer, 2013). Some strategies to improve team dynamics are illustrated below. First, one should conduct a diagnosis and understand his team. This is done by observing the conduct of the members not forgetting the causes of poor dynamics such as weak leadership and poor communication. Second, problems should be attended to as quickly as possible. Any uncanny behavior among the members should be addressed through open discussions which will act as a warning to the other members. Additionally, creating a team character helps in motivating workers since all the other members focus on emulating you as their leader. Team culture should also be enhanced through creating a conducive working environment for workers and through open communication (Dyer & Dyer, 2013).
