They were forced to reduce their military service to 100,00, had a limit of 24 navy ships, no submarines, the naval personnel couldn’t exceed 150,000, and they had to abandon all military and naval aviation. After the signing, Germany feared that Bolshevism would occur like it did in Russia. Russia’s government was overthrown during the signing of the treaty. Russia suffered heavy casualties during World War 1. Bolshevists took over Russia because there was no government. Bolshevists are the communist form of government adopted in Russia and led to the Bolshevik revolution of 1917. They also feared a political party would rise because there was no army to control the country. This is how the Nazi Party rose.
