Dotting Foundation: A Case Study

Foundation is a colored makeup that comes in both liquid and powder forms. Foundation

is used to visually even out skin discolorations, cover flaws, lessen the look of pores, level out

skin texture, disguise blemishes and offer a base for other types of makeup. Being a versatile

using a sponge, preferably one with a point, it becomes easier to apply foundation to smaller

areas of the face. A sponge offers more than just one way to spread foundation. Users can leave

the sponge dry to have thin coverage or wet the sponge to thin out the foundation even more. A

wet sponge allows for the thinning of foundation in places where too much was applied and it

gives the skin a dewy, glowing appearance. Bouncing the sponge up and down on the skin

spreads the foundation and allows for a natural exterior. Less foundation is required,
