Hello, I read the Diary of a Wimpy Kid Rodrick Rules, and its by Jeff Kinney. The characters in this book are Greg, Rodrick, Rowley, and Gregs family.(but mostly Greg and Rodrick.)
The setting in this book is at Gregs school and his home where his family lives and sometimes Rowley comes over and sleeps over. The conflict in this book is Rodrick constantly picking on Greg and embarrassing him. The rising action in this book is when Gregs family goes out of town and his Dad and Mom said no one over. But Greg and Rodrick have a party and got grounded when mom and dad saw the pictures taken from the party. There consequences were no video games and Roderick couldn't play in the talent show.
