When Dave Kareken took his beloved dog Kali on a family vacation into the Canadian wilderness he knew she was tough, but now he knows just how tough she actually is.

After being swept away by rapid water, Kali managed to survive ten days out in the Canadian wilderness all by herself.

Kali was out hiking with her family Dave Kareken, Joy Neily and their son Zachary near Rebecca Falls, located on the border of Canada and Minnesota.

While the family were admiring the falls, Kali missed a jump and slipped down to a ledge about ten feet down.

Dave decided he would have to climb down to rescue his dog, but before he could reach her, Kali dived into the rapid water and tried to
