In the cookie commercial “ Dare to Wonder”, Oreo has an upbeat song that shows all their “wonderfilled” cookies. The commercial clearly is targeting all ages but more of the younger generation since it does have a lot of color and the fun bubbly font. Oreo’s really had a creative way of persuading people to go and buy oreos since they can make your day better. Also, there’s a line in the song that says “Forget who you’re supposed to be, take all your crazy flavors, show ‘em off to me!” It clearly talking about how an oreo is the same as a person, Oreo clearly has a lot of flavors and they do tell us when they come out with a different flavor. Another thing that stood out to me apart the lyrics but the beat of the song, it’s so upbeat it makes me want to dance, and hum the lyrics. Oreo was smart to use the pop song to persuade the audience to buy oreos and the fact the this song makes me want to dance is funny and silly but i’m “showing of my crazy flavors” . …show more content…

The topic of my writing piece is about how my mom teaches me how to be a role model and the steps in life that I have to take in order to be one. My audience is my family and my close friends, including classmates and peers. The assumption that the audience is making about me is that I'm shy, I'm antisocial, and I don't want to talk to anyone. My message to the audience is that anyone could be a role model or a leader but it takes hard work and courage. I want to take pride into what I do and not just think of my job as an action to survive. I believe it is difficult to do so in a scene where a good handful of people do not give you the full respect deserved. In the article “Congregation Gone Wild”, G. Jeffrey MacDonald claims that Congregations have shifted their way of approaching their audience in order to “sooth” churchgoers and keep them on their side.…
