Dana's Inspiration
Dana's love of art seems to run in the family. She comes from a family of famous Native American artist. Her father, Jerome Tiger, as well as her uncle, Johnny Tiger Junior, are both well-known artists in the Native American community. Dana was inspired by both her father's and uncle's art while growing up.

In Freedom To Choose, Dana shows a Native American woman in what appears to be a doctor's jacket. Her face and hair are painted with color, whereas the rest of her body is created with simple black lines that fade into the background. The title alludes to the power of the ability to choose what one does with their own life.
Her piece, From You I Learn Many Things, shows a detailed acrylic painting of a wolf, with a picture of a Native American women below the wolf. This piece speaks of her cultural connections to nature.
Another piece, Harmonizing of Life's Seasons, gives you a sense that you are looking into the women's life who is portrayed. In the foreground is a middle aged woman, looking out the left of the canvas, wrapped in a blanket with Native American designs while also wearing modern pants and a long sleeve shirt. In the background, you can see this same woman dressed professional and carrying a briefcase, and further in the background, you catch yet another image of the same woman portrayed in more traditional Native American attire and looking
