About 650,000 Jews went to their own country and the Arabs went to their country in the same land (Beauchamp, 2015, para 2). The Jewish agreed to this deal; however, the Palestinians didn’t agree. It didn’t seem fair for the Palestinians to be pushed around in their own homeland, so they declared war with the Israelis (Beauchamp, 2015, para 3). It concluded that the Israelis won the war against the Palestinians and it cause 700,000 Palestinian citizens to become refugees (Beauchamp, 2015, para 4). Israel were supposed to own 56% of the British Palestine; due to the war, they ended up owning 77% (Beauchamp, 2015, para 4).
Proposition
Since then, both Israel and Palestine had continued with their divisions and different politics. Israel managed to possess 77 percent of the land, because of the war that Palestine started. All Israel wanted was their own homeland and their own nationality, unlike Palestine they just wanted their independence. Palestine could have just left the situation alone when United Nation decided for both to split up and share the land. Therefore, Israel deserve total control of the entire territory since they have a reasonably excuse to have their own homeland.
