In ancient China there were six classes of people. The emperor, the government officials & the nobles, the peasants, the artisans, and the slaves. The upper class lived in side the great wall of China and the lower class live outside of it. The men in ancient China controlled property and family life, women were inferior. The ancient Chinese believed that the gods gave the kings the right to rule. Ancient China’s government was a monarchy, which means that the crown was past down from generation to another. Ancient Egypt had the best and the most interesting technology of all time. For example mummification, ancient Egyptians lived a very short live, infact most people only lived tell their 40’s , so they used mummification to helped prepare and preserve the body for the afterlife. All member of the upper class were mummified. Most people in the middle and lower class could not afford the mummifying process.
