Coccyx Research Paper

The coccyx (also called the tailbone) is located at the base of the spine and it consists of four fused vertebrae. Sacrum and coccyx connect via Sacrococcygeal joints, and there is usually limited movement in the coccyx and sacrum.
The movement of the pelvis, hips and legs usually make the Coccyx to move slightly forward or backward. When a person is sitting or standing, the forming of the pelvic bones (including the coccyx) will curl outward and inward slightly to get a better support and balance the body.
