Kin-Country Syndrome Analysis

I would like to answer how far the notion of kin-country syndrome from Samuel Huntington defines the issue of US attitude towards Palestinian-Israeli issue. But at first, I would like to define the definition of kin-country syndrome. Kin-country syndrome is a theory that initiated by Samuel Huntington on his thesis about Clash of Civilization, Kin-country syndrome means states or groups that have the same civilization, and engaged in a war against other groups of different civilizations, in other words a group or state that has the same civilization support each other to combat the different civilizations. And he states that country or group will focus on the relationship, which has the same civilization as they are. In kin-country syndrome, …show more content…
And kin-country syndrome has very much influence Palestinian and Israeli issue. Because as I already explain above, Israel and the United States have same vision those are the same disliked a country because it is based on several factors that is religion and culture. And some of them believe that they come from the same civilization that is Jews. Thus, the United States has always been at the back and help Israel during the war. So, kin-country syndrome really help us to understand that the same civilization could help each other to against the other civilization that has a different perception, for example, is the United States who support Israel because they have similarities to combat Palestinian civilization because they have different civilization. Moreover, Israel and the United States could seek other countries or other groups who have the same vision with them to help them against the opposing civilizations; they usually invite the countries from the west. United States always beside the Israel because the US knows Israel is the strongest state and can become a strength partners to strategize in the Middle
