Two of the most important are the ability to guide, without micromanaging, and being able to communicate and listen to your team of employees. Another factor used by Google’s leaders is the ability to solve issues that may arise on the spot, rather than having to go to other leaders to help you. One such example is the organizational structure of the company, which is peculiar in nature, but has a very positive outcome when followed. Google 's corporate structure varies little from that of traditional structures. Although, the existence of a few unique leadership positions such as Chief Culture Officer and Chief Internet Evangelist can not go without notice. As most Incorporation are, Google is overseen by a Board of Directors, who pass instruction down through the executive group for each department. However, what is most strange about Google’s hierarchy is that, while it holds power to make most every decision, it is a very common practice for executive leaders and the Board of Directors not to be overbearing. This behavior is used so as to allow the maximum levels of creativity and innovation. I personally believe that all things considered, working for Google would be something alien to me, due to the lack of rigidity. Although one aspect of Google’s employment policy, is the desire for employees who can think quickly in tough situations.
