As of 2006 Sweden was barely below Switzerland in guns per capita with 31.6 guns per 100 people, which equivalates to a little more than 3 million guns in the country. Even though Sweden is a very “gun secure” country where there are a lot of regulations and laws for the Swedish, guns are mostly used for hunting and just shooting at a range. There is almost no need for any sort of AR-15s or specialized conceal carry handguns. Hopefully, choosing this market Handlers will be a profitable family owned business in Sweden. This is why my company, Handlers, will be selling two different products and exporting them from Platteville, WI to all over Sweden. Handlers is a family business that is manufacturing handcrafted hunting rifles and gun safes. Each customer who buys a rifle will customize their own, with the features they like and here in America we will manufacture it to exactly that. Since it is a family owned business, the company will only have a limited amount of employees and keep our product a specialized product. Even though these rifles and safes are specialized products, the guns will be no more than $1,000(USD) and the gun safes will not be more than $750(USD). This insures that each product is worth its value. The exchange rate has actually raised from US dollar to the SEK, it currently $1=~8SEK. While a couple time during history Sweden’s economy was not the best, especially right after the 2008 recession, in 2009 Sweden had the highest unemployment in history and more debt than ever before. …show more content…

In Sweden since the population and need for guns is lower than, just say the US, there are less advertisements for firearms, but more word of mouth and actually going into stores, but there are still a couple advertisements. We plan on sending computers with our own gun customization program to Sweden for a couple companies, so there for looking for a gun that is pre-made maybe not exactly what they want, Handlers could make it for them. We will advertise the customization program, than the guns themselves, this will keep the government happy, since there are laws in place for advertising
