After are the s’mores we gathered around the fire and started telling stories. There were about 20 to 30 kids around the fire and we were more focus on the howling of the coyotes. Some kids said stories about things that happen to them or things that had happen to some they know.Not that much kids said stories most of them passed on talking. Austin ( My counselor) his story was a good 20 to 30 minutes long. Everyone barely heard him because of sound of crumbling leaves behind us.
It was about 11 o'clock ,camp time ( real time 12), when we prayed and Austin said go to the platforms and go to sleep. Then everyone sprang up and dash to the platforms. So he tried to wake up Owen. When he tried to wake him up, Owen turned around (still sleeping) and made a grin with the creepiest smile and with his eyes pop out. Stephen flipped out then punch him right face. Then again because Owen still made the face. When we all woke up the right side of Owen’s face was all bright red and we never knew why, but we didn’t know what happen. After that we all had breakfast, then pack our things and headed off. That Day was my favorite day at camp and I had a get time at camp. I made friends that day and I will never forget that day, that day that Owen got punch in the face.
