Everyone in life has their own purpose. That purpose is in the form of a career. My purpose is entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship is a person who organizes and manages any enterprise. Pertaining to entrepreneurship, I chose this career for many reasons. The biggest reason is that I have always enjoyed business related classes. Classes such as accounting, economics, and business and management. Another reason is because being an entrepreneur means you’re a leader. I want be a role model for the future generation. When you decide to associate with a career, the most important quality is to excel at it. I believe a person cannot consider themselves as an entrepreneur, unless they’re a successful entrepreneur. People want to start their own business for many reasons. The main reason people go into entrepreneurship is because of income. The potential income for an entrepreneur is limitless. Running a business can be rewarding; however, it requires investments. Investment can come in different forms such as time and money. These two kinds of investment are the outliers for starting a business. Entrepreneurs have to invest a lot of their time into their businesses. This means less time for friends,family, and vacation. On the other hand, you also need to have money. In order to get a profit out of a business, you have to invest towards it. Money means investing your own such as savings or having business partners that invest in your business. For entrepreneurs, starting a business is important. However, keeping a business running is even more crucial. According to the owner of Linn and Owen Jewelers: Lance Stewart, there are three things that keep a business running. Those things are knowing your business’ weaknesses, being open-minded, and setting goals and deadlines. By knowing your business’ weaknesses, you can eliminate them by looking for solutions. For example, if your business is known for horrible sanity conditions; hiring new cleaning staff will eliminate the problem. As a result, the business gains more customers.
