CAS is one of the many challenging and engaging requirements for the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma. Despite that CAS has contributed to making my high school days busy, it has enabled me to challenge myself, become a better person and further develop myself. It is important to state, that the CAS program inspired me to engage myself in learning not only from academic books, but to advance as a person by making a difference in our community, school, and even the global society in general.

This factor was the success factor when it came playing volleyball, as well as when it came to working for the prom, winter concert, bazar etc. I have learned that working in a team is very challenging, as I did not know that for a team to be successful it must not only have the same goal, but mutual trust. It was difficult for me in the beginning to trust others, therefore I tried to take more responsibility. However with time I have realized that I was wrong. Once people have the same goal, mutual trust is easy to achieve. Likewise when we trust our team members they do feel that we have faith in them, and hence are willing to give more and not disappoint us. I have learned that the opinion we have on our team members can be regarded as self-fulfilling prophesies. That is, if we have the assumption that our team members will avoid work, they will understand that we do not trust in them, and hence truly become like this. Moreover I have learned how to give and receive constructive feedback, improving my overall communication and people skills. I found myself very pleased to as I have realized that I have grown into a smart individual, and at the same time a good team member, which can work well with different kind of people, can combine and make the most out of different
