The party supports all sorts of educations for individuals including full provision towards home-schooling. They also recognise, respect and affirm students who want to drop out of school before year 12, due to the belief that ‘the world rewards skills, not education’. So children should have right to drop out of school to pursue a career in which they have full interest in.
Fighting poverty
Family First strives to provide people with opportunities to develop skills enabling them to break the cycles of poverty. A fundamental factor is education, which would be achieved by promoting initiatives that make education available to those who are marginalised. As well placing a high value to programs that help tackle the job employment barrier. Basically, great importance is given to education for the ease of employment as well as fighting poverty to create a sustainable basis to those currently in unstable positions.
