Danielle and Zach are the main characters. They take earth simulations instead of traditional schooling. This is their ideal norm. Zach and Danielle used to date until Danielle risked all of her play credits on a single play. She died in childbirth in her simulation and was sent to labor school. Zach’s mentor is the creator of the game so he has some tricks up his sleeve. He makes a raffle and somehow, Danielle is selected. What odds. So Zach and Danielle never plan on meeting each other in the simulation. Then again the odds are defied and they meet each other and end up getting married. I began reading this book independently just to waste time. But about 50 pages in I realized that this book made me think. I discovered that I questioned more. I found that I had to know what happened to Zach and Danielle. I began to read it at home and when ever I was on the road instead of playing on my phone or texting. That's when I knew it was something special. It was funny, I wanted to savor the book but at the same time, I wanted to use it for my book folder for english class. Saving on chapter per day. I found I enjoyed it more the second time though. I found more details that I missed. There was many instances of foreshadowing involved throughout the

Too many elements were in play and it made it difficult to fit the pieces together. However, the more I read, the more it made sense. Not every detail Atwood presents is readily used, but I kept as many details as possible in the back of my head and some of the details were proved useful in understanding the later parts of the book. I had mixed feelings about how Atwood presents the story. On one hand, I liked how it encouraged me to really think about the situations in the book.…

First, I really liked how the plot progressed. I think that it went at a very good pace and was very smooth throughout the entire story. Also, the novel was very easy to read and not very complicated to figure out because, it was pretty close to the way we speak today. I really enjoyed how it made it seem that so many things could happen, like if burning the books was a good thing or if it was bad in general. Or if they should just burn the books not the house.…
