In 1932 during the Great Depression Bonnie and Clyde became and still are the most notorious and iconic couple who robbed others to survive.Bonnie and clyde were also apart of a gang that would kidnap or kill any police officers that got in their way. Their crimes mostly took place in texas where they both originate from, and spread across five different states.During this time bonnie and clyde were not the only people Bonnie Elizabeth Parker born October 1, 1910 was from Rowena, Texas born to living in poverty but like many had completely different lives before they experienced the misfortune of the great depression.
Her parents Henry and Emma Parker. Bonnie, standing at only 4’11 90 pounds, lived a decent life before her father's sudden death. Bonnie Was an Excellent student in school and loved to write poetry. At the age of 16 without reason dropped out of school and by 19 was married to a man named Roy Thornton, he later went to jail and bonnie never divorced him even though she began a relationship with clyde. The Crew members consisted of Clyde's brother Ivan ”Buck” Barrow, His wife Blanche Barrow, W.D Jones, Henry Methvin, Henry Hamilton,Joe Palmer and Ralph Fults. They traveled the central United States Robbing Small Grocery stores and gas stations. The Crew rarely robbed banks but it was what they were most known for. The gang was responsible for the death of nine police officers and other innocent lives. Once in Platte City, Missouri the gang was involved in a police shoot out that ended with Buck dying from his wounds, Blanche being sentenced to 10 years in prison, and Jones was captured shortly after and of course the notorious Bonnie and Clyde
