Groups such as Black Lives Matter, Blue Lives Matter, or the recent feminist movements, many participants think they are doing it for a good reason, and some have no idea why they are doing it, they just want to be a part of it. Black Lives Matter movement consists of many people whom think they are fixing the white-on-black crimes and fighting for equal black and white rights, but how does violence or rioting fix anything? Upwards of one thousand riots and protest have broken out in the assimilation of Black Lives Matter (Kline). How does all this begin with the media? Every time an altercation was had between a black male and white male, and the black male was killed, more crimes would be stirred up as a result. For instance, In the state of Minnesota, during a Black Lives Matter movement, protesters attacked police using various items including bottles and rocks. Looking at the statistics for white on black crimes that result from the media: on average, more whites are killed by blacks, blacks are killed by blacks, and whites are killed by whites (Cella and Neuhauser). Blacks killed by whites has the lowest average of all four categories, so the need to bring about movements and create other problems is unnecessary. For example, as seen many times, people get riled up when a white officer is being recorded and taking down a black male, but what people fail to understand is the police officer is doing his job. The officer has asked many times in the video for the individual to get on the ground, or ask for identification, and that individual refuses to do so, which is failure to obey, so the officer will escalate the situation to get it taken care of.
