Soul Surfer I chose to research on Bethany Hamilton. I chose her because she is very inspiring. I think this because many people doubted her and told her that she wouldn’t do anything she could do before she lost her arm. In the following paragraphs I will tell you about Bethany’s life before and after the attack. Bethany Meilani Hamilton was born on February 8, 1990, in Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii. Her parents are Thomas and Cherilyn Hamilton. Bethany has two brothers, Noah and Timothy. Noah is eight years older than Bethany and is married to Becky.
