Sometimes bad things happen to good people in this story that happened. The movie soul surfer was one of the best movies I have ever seen and it is a true story. The last time I watched that movie was about a year ago and I watched it on my couch on the TV. I watched it because I love animals, surfing, and the ocean and the movie has all of those components. I have watched soul surfer about 30 time and the first time I saw it I was in kindergarten and now I am in 6th grade.

Now I will tell you about the cast and what part they play in the movie. The person that plays Bethany Hamilton (the main character) is Annasophia Robb. Now the person the plays Bethany's best friend Alana Blanchard is Lorraine Nicholson. The person that plays her mom is Helen Hunt and the person that plays here dad is Dennis Quaid. The people that play her brothers are Ross Thomas and Chris Brochu. The person that saves her after the shark bites off her arm is playing Holt Blanchard Alanas dad is Kevin Sorbo. Last one of bethanys friends is Sarah Hill the person that plays her is Carrie Underwood. The year it came out is 2011 and the director is Sean McNamara. This movie is a live action family, drama, and sports movie and if I had to rate it 1-10 I would rate it a 10. …show more content…
One night she snuck out to go night surfing the next morning her life changed forever. She was with her best friend and her friends brother and dad they were out surfing like every morning, she was talking with her best friend Alana then out of nowhere a 14-foot tiger shark comes and bites he whole arm off. This movie is about her recovering from that injury and becoming a amazing surfer. Everything that happens is for a reason that terrible thing that happened was for a reason and this is a true story. This movie is a inspiration to all young athletes and it tells them they can do anything if they work hard and never give
