Farmers and ranch owners rely on veterinarians to preform tests and make sure the quality of life is well within the livestock. Vets do tests on livestock, vaccinations, pregnancy tests, castrations, and even assist with complicated deliveries. Veterinarians that assist these types of animals are normally on call twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week. Vets also do tests to determine an epidemic that is causing illness and sometimes death amongst the livestock. Animal welfare is the analyzation of the condition an animal is in. For instance, caring for the living conditions an animal is in is definitely a form of animal welfare.
