Nutrition is just as important, if not more important, then the actual weight training. Understanding your body type and your fitness goal will really help determine your fitness. If you’re like me, an ectomorph, or someone who can eat anything and not gain a pound. When I started hypertrophy training I ate 3000 calories a day, eventually bumping up to around 4500 calories. This worked very well for me and I gained 25lbs of lean muscle in a few months. If you’re the opposite you will have to really watch your diet and only eat a few hundred surplus calories. Its also not always about quantity, but more so of quality. Eating the same, but eating clean, can yield very good results. But as always everyone’s body responds
