Band Room Research Paper

Every morning it’s always the blaring of trumpet horns and the pounding of drums ringing in your ears. There’s the shrilly yet beautiful sounds of flutes and the smooth noise coming from saxophones. Every morning it’s always music and noise in the band room, and that’s what I love about it. The band room, one of the most well known room’s in the entire school. You can always hear music coming from there at any part of the day. The people in the band community are always up for playing a tune with their bandmates. Starting from a young age, these people have grown up with music in their hearts and always willing to show it. In band, there is always work going on even if you don’t notice it. The people in the practice rooms are learning the music so that they can be better when it comes time to playing along with the rest of the band. Soloists aren’t just handed the music and immediately they can play it perfectly. They take time to play the music over and over so that they can play it with confidence when it comes to their turn on the stage. Playing a solo with no band in the background a just a small amount of the band playing with you is a brave thing to do and it takes work and dedication. Marching band season can be one of the most entertaining times. From performing shows to having new adventures, marching band is an enjoyment to all, but there’s plenty of work that has to be done before a band is ready to march on the field. At times there are moments when you feel like you want to give up because of the stress that the competition puts, but you have to pull through like the rest of the band and get things done so that the band can put on an amazing performance. There is no slacking in band and just giving up and not trying. You have to give it your all when it comes down to the performance. Even if some things are a little too difficult to play, still try your best to add to the group instead of not playing at all. After every practice and performance there is always
