This paper is going to discuss the Chilean Dictator Augusto Pinochet in regards of his series of arrests and the various issues that arose in light of the offenses that he had committed while being in power. It is mainly going to focus on how Pinochet, in accordance to the privileges and the protection offered by the Heads of State Immunity Immunity provisions, was relieved from arrest and/or persecution of foreign jurisdiction for as long as being active in office.
