Problems With Asthma Asthma can affect what you do sports wise. When doing activities with running or any other exertion you are very likely to have an asthma attack. You also need to carry an inhaler wherever you go especially when exercising. At nighttime and morning is usually when asthma is the worst. So for some people it may be hard to fall asleep when you can't breathe that well and it can also cause them to not be able to talk as well.
