Today, the record number of students studies abroad all over the world. More and more young adults try to spend some time in different countries during their college years. There are many obvious reasons to do so. However, some still afraid to take such a huge step. LR helps students to understand all the privileges of exploring the world through the office of international education. So what, to go or not to go? According to the International Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development 3.7 million students travel abroad each year. In real life it’s quite the opposite. Studies show that 97 percent of study abroad students found employment within 12 months of graduation, when only 49 percent of college graduates found employment in the same period. Twenty five percent higher starting salaries – that’s how much more study abroad students earn than those college graduates who hasn 't studied abroad. Ninety percent of study abroad alumni who applied got into their first or second choice grad school. And 100 percent greater improvement in GPA post-study abroad. Study abroad programs offers student help to start exploring a new culture by walking historically important road or visiting monuments and showing landmarks. Student do group bonding were they all have to participate.
However, the biggest advantage students get concerns education. Starting with simple improvement of you language skills.
Speaking foreign language everyday leaves students no choice, but to improve it. Hearing native speakers talking in their language also contributes to the language skills.
Why do you think business majors go to China and exercise science go to Australia? Because of the different programs and different styles of teaching. By participating in a study abroad program students have a chance to look at their major from different perspective and decide whether or not they want to do it for the whole life. Different technics of leaning the same major will definitely help you to understand it
