Study abroad programs offers student help to start exploring a new culture by walking historically important road or visiting monuments and showing landmarks. Student do group bonding were they all have to participate.

Speaking foreign language everyday leaves students no choice, but to improve it. Hearing native speakers talking in their language also contributes to the language skills.
Why do you think business majors go to China and exercise science go to Australia? Because of the different programs and different styles of teaching. By participating in a study abroad program students have a chance to look at their major from different perspective and decide whether or not they want to do it for the whole life. Different technics of leaning the same major will definitely help you to understand it
