A Tale of Two Stories
In this section, I would complete an exercise call “Tale of Two Stories” and recall two different situations in my life that I have encountered when my values conflicted with what I was asked to do. This exercise is designed to help me identify and develop what is necessary to achieve to find how I would voice and act on my values in my life.
The first part of the exercise is to recall a time in my experience when my values conflicted with what I was expected to do in a particular, non-trivial decision, and I spoke up and acted to resolve the conflict.
A situation I recall would be the time when I was a resident assistant and part of my job was to document any situation that would bring any harm or discomfort to the

However, that doesn’t mean I only work for the paycheck. As a management major student, I aim to use my skills, serial optimism and abilities to polish myself and be a role model promoting fairness in the workforce. I also aim to keep a respectful and fun environment in the workplace. As a follower (employee), I have the power to apply ethical principles to make a significant difference. For instance, I have seen some position advertisement online that included that they prefer hiring female for the job. I happened to know the person posting the job online so I called him to change it because I found statement unfair to other potential candidates. He immediately changed the ad and apologies for his mistake. When I see things that triggers my ethical alarm, I would react and do my best to prevent and eliminate it.
In summary, I would define my purpose statement (personal and professional) is to continue to learn and grow in my (old and new) abilities, utilizing my skills, training and personal character to thrive in any position I hold while I am striving to improve the fairness treatment in the company and contribute to its success. I vision myself in five to ten years to be an honest, empathetic and an impactful leader (as well as a follower) to be recognized in the

The ability to experience pain and suffering are universally and innately part of human ideology. Margaret Lock and Nancy Scheper-Hughes situate human affliction as mutually constructed by biological, social, and cultural understandings of the body. Both anthropologists advocate for a comprehensive perspective regarding illness and disease in which knowledge of and explanatory models referring to an individual’s illness are fixed on a greater social, political, and cosmic influences. Apparent identical life events can be explained by purely contradictory understandings of the body; pain, suffering and death simply cannot be explained in a manner that lacks the wider context of culture and society.…

It is usually not taken very seriously and even sometimes changed to fit certain situations, such as it is not “right” for the employee to go around and talk about how his or her CEOs or coworkers are cheating with accounts.…
