Absent/inadequate ventilation following a med/trauma event.


SpO2 level <94% adult <96% child


SpO2 In COPD <92%


SpO2 In PO <90%

Normal 94 - 98%

OXYGEN - DOSE

Adult - 100% O2


Titrate to get a norm of SpO2 94-98% for everything else


For COPD till you get up to SpO2 92% at least



Paeds - 100% O2


To achieve SpO2 of 96-98%


Neonatal resuscitation(<4wks) supp. O2 (30%)


Everything else - 96-98%
