which groups of people did hitler discriminate?
Jewish, Communists, Homosexuals, Gypsies and the disabled or work shy.
How did Hitler indoctrinate students within schools?
Nazi's rewrote textbooks using censorship to only contain the information they wanted the students to know, Made teachers sign an oath, Jewish children were seperated from Aryans, books and films such as the poisonous mushroom and the eternal jew descriminated against Jews. Boys education was different from girls and physical education was important.
What was the Hitler youth?
Hitler Youth was a camp much like the scouts nowadays, it prepared boys for fighting in the army, physical activity was vital. They also did theory activitys such as looking at the nazi party. Attendance became compulsary but some rebeled. It was another way Hitler could brainwash people.
Who were the Edelweiss Pirates?
The Edelwiess pirates were a group of children beteen the ages of 14-17 who rebelled against Hitler and the Nazis.
What was life like for women in Nazi Germany?
Women were expected to have lots of children and not work, but to stay at home and be the 'perfect wife'. they were expected to wear traditional clothing an no make up. They were also expected to follow the three k's (Children, Church and Cooking) but toward the end of the war the Nazi policy showed gaps when women were expected to work in munitions.
How did Hitler reduce unemployment?
He took Jews and women off the unemployment register, he brought in the National Labour service this gave thousands of men jobs. he also made jobs in 'Aurtarky' and making Germany self-sufficient after the British Blockade.
