Right of Way
Phrase used to describe who has the lawful to enter, turn, travel or make any traffic movement on a road.
What do you do when you are traveling on a road which intersects with another road and you have a stop sign and they do not.
You must give right of way to another vehicle or person in or close to the intersection..if you have a stop sign, you must stop

2. Before you begin, check your rear view mirror and side view mirrors and turn your head to check your blind spot to be certain no one is passing you.
3. Activate your left turn signal
4. Pass on the left and be sure to return to the right lane until you have checked for clearance in your rear view mirror

5. Within 100 feet of an intersection

7. When a school bus is stopped to load or unload.

1. When you are lawfully overtaking and passing another vehicle going in same direction
2. An obstruction makes in necessary to drive to the left of the center line, but only after yielding to oncoming traffic

You can do this when the vehicle in front of you is making or about to make a left turn and there is enough pavement on the right for both of your vehicles . OR on a multi-lane highway carrying two or more lanes of traffic in the same direction

Four steps to make a RIGHT TURN
1. Use a signal, giving drivers notice.
2. Approach intersection in right lane.
3. If there is a bicyclist, yield to it before turn
4. Turn so you end up in the right lane of the street you turning onto.
Steps to make a LEFT turn
1. Use a signal in advance
2. Move to far left lane of direction you are traveling
3. Keep wheels straight before you turn.
4. When safe to turn, make turn so you car ends up in left lane of your direction of traffic you are turning onto.
5. You must stop for any pedestrians in crosswalk or the roadway is cleared.
