DC SERVICE SWITCH
Powers the DC Service Bus from the APU Battery Direct Bus
BATTERY MASTER SWITCH
Connects the main battery and APU battery to the Battery Bus via the Main Battery Direct Bus and the APU Battery Direct Bus
EXTERNAL DC POWER SWITCH. AVAIL/IN USE
AVAIL = DC power is connected and is operating within limits (Voltage and Polarity). IN USE = External DC power is supplying power to the APU and Main Battery Direct Bus
EXTERNAL AC POWER SWITCH. AVAIL/IN USE
AVAIL = AC power source is connected and within limits (Voltage, Phase, and Frequency). IN USE = External AC power source is powering the electrical system
IDG DISCONNECT SWITCH. FALUT/DISC
FAULT = High oil temperature or low oil pressure. DISC = Will automatically disconnect for Overtemp or Overtorque.
AC ESS XFER SWITCH
Illuminated when AC Essential Bus is not being powered by AC bus 1. It can auto or manual transfer to AC Bus 2
GENERATOR SWITCH
Connects the generator to the associated AC bus
APU GENTERATOR SWITCH
Connects the APU generator to the AC busses
AC BUS AUTOMATIC TRANSFER SWITCH. FAIL/OFF
FAIL = A Bus fault or generator overcurrent. The associated AC Bus cannot be powered by the APU or offside generator. OFF = Manually to disable the priority/auto transfer system.
BUS TIE SWITCHES 1 & 2
TIE 1 illuminates when DC bus 1 is not being powered by its normal source. The TRU 2 or Service TRU powers DC bus 1. TIE 2 illuminates when DC bus 2 is not being powered from its normal source. TRU1 or Service TRU powers DC bus 2
ESS BUS TIE SWITCH
MANUAL ONLY! Ties the Service TRU to the DC Essential and Battery Bus during an Essential TRU 2 failure.
ENGINE FIRE DETECTION SWITCH
A drop in electrical resistance in loop A and B will trigger a fire warning
JETPIPE/PYLON OVERHEAT SWITCH
A drop in electrical resistance in loop A and B will trigger an overheat warning.
APU FIRE DETECTION SWITCH
A drop in electrical resistance in loop A and B will trigger a fire warning
FIRE DETECTION TEST SWITCH. WARN/FAIL
WARN: Simulates a fire or overheat in the APU and Engines. Fire Bell, and APU/ENGINE FIRE, JETPIPE OVERHEAT. JETPIPE OVERHEAT AURAL WARNING. Associated switch lights and fire bottles illuminate. FAIL: Simulates a short on the the loops.
BOOST PUMP SWITCH. PUSH IN/ON/INOP
PUSH IN: 1. During engine start, both boost pumps operate 2. Both engines running, pumps are off and will automatically operate when low pressure is detected in either engine fuel feed line. ON: Illuminates when the associated pump is operating. INOP: A low pressure condition has been detected in the engine feed line, and the respective boost pump has not been armed, or has failed.
GRAVITY CROSSFLOW SWITCH. PUSH IN/PUSH OUT/FAIL
PUSH IN: Opens the balance shutoff valve. The OPEN light illuminates. RELEASE OUT: Closes the balance line shutoff valve. FAIL: The balance line shutoff valve is not in the commanded position.
L/R XFLOW SWITCH. PUSH IN/PUSH OUT/FAIL
PUSH IN: 1. Opens the respective XFLOW shutoff valve (must have XFLOW AUTO OVERRIDE switch selected to manual mode for valve to operate.) 2. The ON light illuminates 3. The XFLOW/APU pump operates. PUSH OUT: 1. Closes the respective crossflow shutoff valve 2. The ON light extinguishes 3. The XFLOW/APU pump stops. FAIL: The respective XFLOW shutoff valve is not in the commanded position or the XFLOW/APU pump fails to operate when the left or right XFLOW shutoff valve opens.
XFLOW AUTO OVERRIDE SWITCH. PUSH IN/PUSH OUT
PUSH IN: Arms the XFLOW/APU pump for manual XFLOW operation. Automatic operation is disabled. The MAN light illuminates. PUSH OUT: Arms the XFLOW/APU pump for automatic crossflow operation. Manual operation is disabled.
DUCT MONITOR SELECTOR SWITCH. TEST/NORM/LOOP A/LOOP B
TEST: Simulates a duct failure (by grounding) to test the 10th and 14th stage loops. NORM: Leak detection and warning is provided in all pneumatic ducting int eh fuselage, pylon, and wing areas. There are 2 10th stage loops and only 1 14th stage loop. LOOP A: Tests the 10th stage loop A for continuity. LOOP B: Tests the 10th stage loop B for continuity.
14th STAGE SWITCH. PUSH IN/PUSH OUT/DUCT FAIL
PUSH IN: Associated bleed air shutoff valve opens. PUSH OUT: The associated bleed air shutoff valve closes. DUCT FAIL: Illuminates to indicate a failure in the associated 14th stage duct. The light extinguishes when the failure is isolated and the duct cools below a predetermined value.
14th STAGE ISOLATION VALVE SWITCH. PUSH IN/PUSH OUT
PUSH IN: the 14th stage bleed air isolation valve opens. PUSH OUT: Closes the 14th stage bleed air isolation valve
10th STAGE SWITCH. PUSH IN/PUSH OUT/DUCT FAIL
PUSH IN: Associated bleed air shutoff valve opens. PUSH OUT: The associated bleed air shutoff valve closes. DUCT FAIL: Illuminates to indicate a failure in the associated 10th stage duct. The light extinguishes when the failure is isolated and the duct cools below a predetermined value.
10TH STAGE ISOLATION VALVE SWITCH. PUSH IN/PUSH OUT
