Travels deep to popliteal fossa lateral to politeal vessels.
Descends deep to soleus on intermuscular septum. Divides into medial and lateral plantar nerves under flexor retinaculum. |

O: Arises from tibial nerve.
Descends between two heads of gastrocnemius. Travels with saphenous vein. Cutaneous Supply: Arise from tibial nerve and supply skin of heel. |
