Cachexia

Weakness and wasting of the Body due to severe chronic illnesses

Enteral Nutrition

Delivering nutrition to stomach or small intestines

Bariatrics

Surgical procedure performed on the stomach or intestines to introduce weight loss

Hypoxia

Deficiency in the amount of oxygen reaching the tissue.

Anoxia

An absence of oxygen.

Atrophy

(Of body tissue or an organ) Waste away, especially as a result of the degeneration of cells.

Hypertrophy

The enlargement of an organ or tissue from the increase in size of it's cells.

Dysplasia

The presence of cells of an abnormal type within a tissue. Which may signify a stage preceding the development of cancer.

Metaplasia
