ESSAY: Discuss three important developments that brought about the Age of Exploration. |
There were so many important developments that brought about the Age of Exploration, but I will name three. First were the adventures of Marco Polo, because it created the greatest interest in the Orient. Second was the invention of the printing press, because it printed books of navigation, geography, and the feats of explorers became available. Last, but not least were the Crusades, because it helped renew interest in the Orient, stimulating the nations of Europe to look for all-water routes to the East.
