One simple way to improve grades and test scores would be to simply just introduce uniforms into schools all around the world. In Houston a “study found that elementary school girls' language test scores increased by about three percentile points after uniforms were introduced” (“Should Students Have to Wear School Uniforms?”). Uniforms can greatly improve students grades, thus leading to a more successful and smarter generation to come. In addition to test scores improving, studies have shown that graduation and attendance rates have gone up after the introduction of uniforms, “school districts found that school uniform policies improve rates of attendance, graduation” (“Should Students Have to Wear School Uniforms?”). In the article “Should Students Have to Wear School Uniforms” all the evidence points to students being able to focus further more on their education in uniforms, rather than focusing on their looks or what their peers perceive them as, “When all students are wearing the same outfit, they are less concerned about how they look and how they fit in with their peers; thus, they can concentrate on their schoolwork.” As a result of school uniforms, it has been proven that grades and test scores can go up significant amounts due to the fact that while wearing uniforms, students are more likely to focus on school and not their
