Conscious ego |
Thoughts, feelings and behaviors stem from a conscious ego. |

The physical, intellectual and experiences we have as young children that manifest themselves into distinct expressions of the individual. |

Fictional finalism |
Fictions we create to help explain the world around us, these drive our behavior. We are forward looking creatures that pursue superiority and other future goals. |

Can attribute to the development of neurotic goals (if parents fail to show love and thoughtfulness) or learning co-operation and other skills depending on the parents. |

The Creative Self |
An ego concept, that helps create the styles of life, distinctive features or ones personality and experiences. |

Family constellation |
The arrangement of the roles occupied by various family members, specifically whether or not parents have a democratic style or one sided. Helps develop personality. |

Pampering |
A child who is not independent, expecting people to look after them and becomes almost tyrant like. |

Rejection |
A child that erects barriers and assumes that everyone is hostile. |

Ordinal or position |
The situation into which the child is born into (no nominal position in the family IE... first or second child). But rather the different experiences you may gain depending on when you're born. |

Characteristics of the problem child |
Constantly demanding attention, Demanding sympathy and help, Vying or power or rebellion, Seeking revenge, Withdrawing or Escaping reality. |

Dreams |
Represent important themes in life mostly those associated with problems we're struggling with. They give expression to experiences we had as a child. |

Earliest memories |
Serve lifelong striving and may be fiction BUT Adler said he can learn a lot when asking someone for their earliest memory. |
