- peel of a thin layer of a onion - put two drops of iodine solution onto the onion and then slip the onion into the slide and place it under the microscope - you have to look through the eyepiece and then use the right maginafiction and then focus it right on the onion |

-warm acid gently and add copper oxide slowly -when no copper oxide dissolves then an excess has been added (you will see Black bits in the bottom of the beaker ) -filter the solution to remove the excess, the filtrate will be left in the bottom of the colonial flask - heat the solution over a water bath to evaporate the water and cause it to crystallize -carry on heating until they are dry |
