Dosage of chloramphenicol for bacterial conjunctivitis?

Bacterial conjunctivitis:
1 drop every 2–4 hours for 2 days; then if there is improvement, 1 drop 4 times daily for 5 days. -Ointment may be used as an adjunct to drops at night, or as a single agent 3 times daily, eg in children. |
