Antacids |

- MOA: Decrease stomach acid secretion and increase the production of protective mucus in the stomach. It also increases the production of bicarbonate, which helps thicken the mucus, allowing it to produce new cells. - Uses: Prevents ulcers, Labor induction - Side effects: Dysmenorrhea, GI upset - Contraindications: Pregnancy |
