Trim air comes off of engine bleed air, before pack and mixing manifold and allows 3 (FD, FWD and AFT) trim air modulating valves to modulate based on temp selector position.

FMA- A/T show N1 and pitch shows MCP SPD If a descent is entered A/T retards to idle and the speed in FMA is held. FMA shows RETARD once the TLs reach idle changes to ARM and MCP SPD is the pitch mode. |
