The workers should not be fired because then the amount of jobs in this country would eminently decrease. Some jobs already have low income that people barely live off of, and it would not be fair if the workers’ jobs were taken away as a result of this fast food decision. Students would eat this stuff in the middle of the day and they would not have the vitality to do anything else. Processed, fried foods do not give minors the energy that is an essential to fulfill their everyday lives. Also, this would affect (by most likely decreasing) the amount of physical activity each child does. Younger kids will not know the difference between a regular school burger and a Big Mac. They just eat whatever they can get their hands on. Obesity is already rising by the minute in this country and it’ll get higher, faster if fast food restaurants take over and serve students their food everyday of the school year.
