The question is “Do you read e-books?” And there is two fixed options “Yes” and “No” to choose. The proportion of male participants who read e-books is around 91, while female is about 93. It is hard to tell the e-book reading habit obviously vary from gender because the statistics are very close. As for age, figures of four groups under 30 years old are nearly reach to or exceed 95 percent. The other three sets of data are 76 percent, 93 percent and 88 percent. Although the statistics are not rise with age, it can be seen that people who under 30 years old are more likely to access e-books. The level of education has little impact to the e-book access since the figures in four groups are all in the range from 91 percent to 94 percent. However, in some countries such as Sweden, people who have higher education level are more likely to have e-book reading habit. This two situation probably due to the different ways of e-book distribution. (Bergstrom and Hoglund, 2014) E-books are distributed through libraries in some countries such as Sweden. And people with higher education level usually have library habits. So, positive correlation can be shown between education level and e-book reading habit. About 91 percent of participants claim they usually use mobile phones to read e-books. Other portable devices such as tablets and laptops are the second choice. E-book readers such as Kindle and Hanvon E-book Reader get low popularity, as same as desktops.
