Like I said earlier, the president reserves the ability to either pass or deny a bill to into a law. And that is just one of the many things. According to an article on lawteacher.net, it states that “Speed and decisiveness can be seen as a positive characteristic of a presidential system, as presidents usually have stronger constitutional powers allowing them to spearhead reform and enact change swiftly,” (Advantages of the Presidential Systems). This means that due to the presidents abilities to make the political agenda, and the ability to appoint (like ambassadors, supreme court judges, cabinet members, etc…) he has the ability to create a significant change that can result in the better for the country, both on a national and international level. Nationally coincides with the appointment of supreme courts and cabinet members; people that he/she can appoint to enact the specific change he/she desires at a faster right.
