The first leadership style is focused on building a relationship with its members as the best way to accomplish its task. The second style is putting the goal above everything else and the third and final style is essentially not taking responsibility and not leading at all. Given, there are many combinations of these three leadership styles, but these are the basic principles. In addition, after reading these papers, one would conclude the second style mentioned as achieving the goal in the most effective manner, but only for short-term tasks. Long-terms goals would best be achieved by taking the first leadership style and the third leadership method should be avoided all together.
