The amount of Alcohol and Drug use among High school seniors is very common, but it does depend on the substance being used. Let’s begin so I went and interviewed three high school seniors, all at the same time. I asked them all the same question. “What are the percentages of alcohol and drugs users within your age group”.
All three seniors found it easy to give percentages for all drugs beside amphetamines and hallucinogens. Therefore, I had to explain and give an example of what amphetamines and hallucinogens are After, that they caught right on and gave me their percentages. Since I did interview them in a group, I decided to average out their percentages. I came up with 75% for alcohol, 35% for cigarettes, 45% for marijuana. Since the drugs crack, cocaine, and hallucinogens aren’t at easy access, let alone not all that common among high school seniors. the Whereas Alcohol on the other hand is also very easy to come by, so that came as no surprise to any of us, plus we felt that alcohol would always be something so commonly used due its reputation. inhalant aren’t that popularly used among high seniors, however they are all aware of what inhalant are, and were a bit weirder out by the idea of sniff everyday object. One of them responded by saying that you must be desperate if you're doing that.
In conclusion overall I enjoyed doing this assessment, turned out to be more interesting than I thought. I learned that drug and alcohol is very popular within high schoolers and that they are more than aware of
