In our textbook, it states, “The Constitution’s Fourth Amendment protection against an unreasonable search and seizure governs only the public sector workplace because the Constitution applies only to state action” (Hartman, 2014, p. 342). This is part of the Bill of Rights that must be followed by probable cause and respected by everyone. When I get on social media, sometimes I don’t recognize how long I’ve been on. If an employee is like me, then they might not want to be on during work hours if on for personal reasons. If they are only using social media for the purpose of building their business or employer, one must always consider what they say. This will avoid any problems
