Will this movement cause over all college education to cost less or will it actually rise even higher than ever before? Will it cause many students to leave private colleges for a more cheaper education which is relatively equal degree wise? Not much is really known about these questions because a country so large as the US and with a very high percentage of college students has never tried this before (2). But in my opinion, I think that once this act becomes nationwide and all of the state community colleges become tuition free, then in the beginning it will cause a slight rise in private college education cost. This will happen because these community colleges and two year colleges will attract more students and there will be a lower attendance rate to private colleges. This lower attendance rate will cause the continuation of higher private college education cost, thus even more students will end up choosing the free alternative. This very low attendance rate in private colleges will then start to lower the tuition and over time it should, in my opinion drop below what the current tuition cost is. In my opinion, this moment will benefit the students and soon students will be able to have either no or very little college debt. There may be even those who will not be satisfied with a two year degree and so to save money they will go to a tuition free college for the first two years and then transfer to private college to get a higher
