Most of the time we look at vulnerability as a form of weakness, however we can also view vulnerability as being open. In this blog I will explain why we need to be vulnerable to God and our fellow brethren.
Being Vulnerable to God (Psalms 51): A significant way to receive the mercies of God is by being vulnerable. This means that we have to go to God wholeheartedly and bring our burdens and confess our sins to Him. The Books of Psalms talks is a lot of places about vulnerability, as a tool in obtaining mercy.
In Luke 7, a harlot knew fully well that she was a sinner. Nonetheless, she made herself vulnerable to God. She didn’t allow the shame of what she was doing to rub her of her salvation; after all anyone can be saved. The harlot asked God for forgiveness and God forgave her of her sins.
